Saturday, June 13, 2009 10:00pm EST at the En'Kara Faire
All newly constructed ships have been crafted from the finest materials and have passed all inspections. We do have a small selection of ships being auctioned that are not newly constructed as well. Each ship will be detailed so that the bidders are fully informed of what they are bidding on. Every ship is ready for delivery!
Pre-registering for this event is highly recommended!
Registering at or during the event will be at the discretion of the attending Event Scribe. Participants may only bid and spend up to the pre-determined amount of gold during each event.
Every participant will be need to be prepared to pay for your winning(s) upon the conclusion of the auction. An account has been established with the Bank of Besnit to handle the deposits and transfers via bank drafts. An attending Scribe will be authorized to issue bank drafts as necessary at the time of the auction. Serious bidders are encouraged to transfer appropriate funding to an account for their convenience. It is not generally considered wise to carry large sums of gold on your person.

Agrippa comes rolling into a city after basically using it as a base to operate a spy shop in Port Kar. He gets enough money from the Ubara of Cos, whose stuff he owns and who became Ubara while he was in Port Kar, to hire a detachment of bad boy regular military and come into the city.
Except Port Cos Isn't a city where anyone's particularly loyal to anyone, and especially not Agrippa's Cosian's, and since the senate is out of session and now is coming back, all the important people in Port Cos, even foreign land holders, are trying to get control of the government by controlling territory in the city.

The love of a
father for his child should never be challenged and when it was
learned by Duran White Larl (DuranofAr),
Deputy Administrator of Cardonicus that his daughter had been
placed in a collar within the City of Corcyrus
immediate action was taken.
Knowing that no
child should be placed within a collar, no less his own flesh and
blood, he demanded an immediate return of his child to
himself. His demand
was answered and agreed to by Hagan Maccabee, En'Sword of
Corcyrus.
This was done with
proper authority
in the absence of
the Administrator, Krayton Storm.
Duran, along with
a strong band of allies, traveled to outside the city
walls of Corcyrus to retrieve his daughter,
Tahlia Star
White Larl. The child was
turned over to the full custody of her father and the child's
mother, Tabytha Von (Tabytha x Von) has had all rights to the
aforementioned child, Tahlia Star White Larl, stripped from her and
terminated permanently by Hagan Maccabee,
En'Sword of Corcyrus
and this will
remain henceforth even if the collar is removed from about Tabytha
Von's neck. Tahlia Star White
Larl is now back home in Cardonicus and with her father, where
she belongs.

Hidden behind veils
of secrecy and mystery, tucked away in the cold granite labyrinth of
the Voltai Mountains, the Iron Sleen Council lurks. The melody of
screams and the smell of burnt wood in the abyss of night, a reminder
that sometimes the shadows are alive, not the stagnant darkness that
drapes everything in an obsidian shroud, but the living breathing
reality of it all. The reality that when the tarns black out the
light, your whole world is about to change, the reality, that in the
thickets of the foliage you try to hide in lurks the reptilian
mounts to send you from your emerald abode. The reality that upon the
sea's you find yourself being tracked by the armada of those you
though only touched the shores with their marauding ways. Now the
fingers of savagery well ripped the curtains away from the eyes of
those blind to the world where only the strong survive, un bias to
gender or caste, rank or creed. Prepare for the awakening of what Gor
use to be.

that time again to touch base with you all. The BRoG has
grown dramatically and our members are moving up in rank.
It gives me great pride to see how well everyone is working together
and keeping us united. I myself have been busy with my lumber
mill, contracts and tending to things in Turia. Soon the BRoG
will hold their elections, I'm confident that whoever holds the new
chairs will do a wonderful job and keep the caste going strong.
Many of our builders have erected buildings and bridges, each
spectacular and well crafted proving we have the best of the best.
Many of our shipwrights have been swamped with demands of new ships,
they too represent the caste proudly and diligently working with our
sub castes creating masterpieces of works that fill our waterways.
We are already looking forward to, and planning for the next fairs, as
well as events and classes meanwhile. I'm proud to stand among
the great builders the BRoG has and the unity we have as one. We
continue to welcome all who share our values and wish to be part of
our esteemed and respected caste. Builders of Gor have
constructed cities, without us, we'd all be living on barren lands.
We take pride in our accomplishments and the accomplishments of those
who've come before us. Always holding true to what they have

unique group of people, with special skills and talents greatly needed
to keep Gor growing and safe. Not to mention keeping us living
in comfort.
I
continue to travel and work with city leaders and other builders as
well as other castes representing the BRoG. I will continue to
do all I can for the caste and my brethren builders, retaining the
honor we all hold in being a part of the BRoG. My goal is
open communications with all those within the BRoG, as well as any who
wish to be a part. Unity brings strength, and I strive each day
to keep us all connected and prosperous. Over the past year in
my position as third chair of the caste, I am proud of my
accomplishments and proud of how much the caste has grown in all ways.
I have had the privilege of getting to know many, and working on
projects which enhanced the caste and our abilities to work in easier
settings with new tools and devices. Working together with other
castes has proven not only a great asset and opened lines of
communication, but it has helped us all in our status to offer more
quality in our tasks. I look forward to working with and
for the BRoG with true dedication and pride and hopefully visit with
each of your cities soon.

Lysandros has claimed
the lands South of Turmus and SouthWest of Ven situated at the mouth
of the Vosk and the tributary Thassa Cartius river in the name of the
Iron Sleen Council. With the support docking at the mouth of the
tributary Thassa Cartius, making it clear it is part of it as well,
politically at least. The name of the village will from here on out be
called Torlan.
Village of Torlan
It was a perfect spot
cradled by the unforgiving fingers of the Vosk Delta and sitting at
the mouth of the main river of the Vosk, and the tributary Thassa
Cartius River. The smell of rotted vegetation diluted by the incoming
breeze off the two rivers that rushed passed in the promise to carry
the navy of the Iron Sleen Council anywhere on Gor, no City was
out of reach, no Island immuned.
Lysandros
Azreal saw the promise of this vacant land, yet he knew that the
Delta was a place of trickery, with the shifting of winds, and the
rising and lowering of tide, lands came and gone like a mirage in
the Tahari, nevermind the challenges of the Rencers.
He
needed a Man who could mold his dream into a place that brought the
promise of stabilizing the lands and fortifying it for the needs of
the Iron Sleen Council. He remembered a man of specialized skills,
and he reached out to him, Tassein Mechane, yes he would be the man
that would bring simplistic dreams to a reality, as such he began to
do.
For
now it was a village on stilts and pontoons with the support docking
at the mouth of the Thassa Cartius River, making it clear it was
also part of claimed land, politically at least. The name Torlan. A
name no one had yet heard of, a name that was passed off as another
village in the middle of no where opting for a place in today's
society.
But
tomorrow, what would it become then?
Still
a village forgotten?
Or
would it grow and produce praises on the lips of non believers?
That
is a story for another day. For now the first chapter of Torlan had
been written in the pages of history.

This
is a city of thieves, of raiders and warriors.
Treve
was a warlike city somewhere in the trackless magnificence of the Voltai
Range. I had never been there but I knew her reputation. Her warriors
were said to be fierce and brave, her women proud and beautiful. Her
tarnsmen were ranked with those of Thentis, famed for its tarn flocks,
and Ko-ro-ba, even great Ar itself.
Indeed,
there was little known even of the city of Treve. It lay somewhere among
the lofty, vast terrains of the rugged Voltai, perhaps as much a
fortress, a lair, of outlaw tarnsmen as a city. It was said to be
accessible only by tarnback. No woman, it was said, could be brought to
the city, save as a hooded, stripped slave girl, bound across the saddle
of a tarn. Indeed, even merchants and ambassadors were permitted to
approach the city only under conduct, and then only when hooded and in
bonds, as though none not of Treve might approach her save as slaves or
captive supplicants. The location of the city, it was said, was known
only to her own. Even girls brought to Treve as slaves, obedient within
her harsh walls, looking up, seeing her rushing, swift skies, did not
know wherein lay the city in which they served. And even should they be
dispatched to the walls, perhaps upon some servile errand, they could
see, for looming, remote pasangs about them, only the wild, bleak crags
of the scarlet Voltai, and the sickening drop below them, the sheer fall
from the walls and the cliffs below to the valley, some pasangs beneath.
They would know only that they were slaves in this place but would not
know where this place in which they were slaves might be. It was said no
woman had ever escaped from Treve.
